Photography Club
The Wednesday Photography Club is an inclusive, community-driven group meeting on the fourth Wednesday of every month at noon. Open to everyone from absolute beginners to professionals, it provides a welcoming space where peers and guild members swap technical skills, tackle monthly creative prompts, and share constructive feedback.
What to Expect at Meetings:
Monthly Prompts: Every session features a new, creative theme. Members spend the month interpreting the prompt using any equipment they have, from DSLR cameras to smartphones.
Skill Building: Professional and guild members host educational workshops covering technical skills, such as lighting, composition, and manual camera settings.
Constructive Feedback: A core highlight of the club is the peer review session. Members can share their images for non-competitive, supportive critiques that directly help improve artistic vision and technical proficiency.
A Community for All Skill Levels
Whether you want to learn the basics of exposure, master advanced editing, or find local shooting buddies, the club breaks down the solitary nature of photography. The mix of amateurs and seasoned guild members fosters an environment of mutual growth with absolutely no ego involved.
