2008 Class Schedule -Drawing: Basic Skills & TechniquesTeacher: Sheri Madill Class Type: 6 week class Session time: 1 ½ - 2 Hours; Tuesdays beginning Sept. 2nd at 6p.m. CST Cost to the Student: $75.00 Supplies: $28.83 available for purchase through the Gallery or student may use their own. This drawing class will include introduction and demonstration of basic drawing skills and techniques, brief instruction in Line: contour, gesture & expressive. Value: gradation and tone and creative expression exercises. Students will use a sketchbook during class exercises and at home. Subjects may include drawing from the live model, objects from nature, landscape, still-life and or floral arrangements. Call 586-8055 or come by the Gallery to register. Watercolor: Basic Skills & Techniques Teacher: Sheri Madill Class Type: 6 week class Session time: 1 ½ - 2 Hours; dates TBA Cost to the Student: $75.00 Supplies: $50.56 available for purchase through the Gallery or student may use their own. This watercolor class will include introduction and demonstration of basic watercolor skills and techniques, brief instruction in color theory, and creative expression exercises. Knitting: Basic Skills & Techniques Teacher: Sarah Wakefielf Class Type: 6 week class Session time: 1 ½ - 2 Hours; Thursdays beginning Oct. 2nd at 10 a.m. CST Cost to the Student: $75.00 Supplies: Provided, no additional purchase necessary. This class will emphasize basic knitting skills put into practice. The finished product will be a small bag. As one of the Gallery's textile artists, teacher Sarah Wakefield has extensive experience.
