Pre-registration
required for classes
Studio Saturday March 6th from 10:30-12:30. Class is FREE. All ages. Bring your own drawing materials. James
Pearson offers direction, encouragement and it is a great place to meet
other artists. Come for the donuts and coffee too!
Thursday Knitters Thursday
mornings from 10:00-12:00. Everyone is invited; just bring your
own project. The coffee is always on! Several regular
participants are making knitted hats to go under military
helmets. Come and get the pattern to support our troops!
Collage Workshop with Pat Ritter Saturday, March 13th from 10:30-3:00 Cost is $35-includes material Collage
technique offers everyone an opportunity to create dynamic art.
In this workshop we will begin by creating a small book and do some
short writing exercises. And then working with our written
thoughts and stories, we will use symbols, colors, words, shapes and
images cut from a variety of materials and assemble our choices into
artwork that carries personal meaning. You are encouraged to
bring anything you would like to include in your collage, i.e. photos,
writings special keepsakes, magazines or books that speak to your
interests. Think of making a collage of a special person or event in
your life. A collage would make a great Mother’s Day, Father’s
day or graduation gift too. It is a fun and creative day!! If you
like to scrapbook you will like this class!!
Psanky Egg Decorating with Carolyn Lanham Saturday, March 27 th from 11:00-12:30. Cost $15 This
is a class for ages 13-90 and all skill levels. During this
Easter and spring season you will make a beautiful keepsake using this
traditional egg decorating method. Everything is provided and
there are kit resources if you wish to continue beyond the class.
Join local artist and teacher, Carolyn Lanham, for this fun and
interesting workshop.
